What Exercises Can You Do With Pump Equipment?
The possibilities are endless, as you can use the equipment separately and together. Some of the common exercises you'll see in pump workouts are:
- Standing barbell bicep curl
- Barbell squat power lift.
- Chest presses
- Deadlifts, dead rows
- Triceps extensions
Are Aerobic Steps Good for Low Impact Workouts?
Yes - you can complete low impact exercises on an aerobic step. To complete a low impact workout on your step, remember to do the following:
- Lower the height if you are experiencing pain or discomfort.
- Keep one foot in contact with the ground at all times.
- Step softly on the platform.
- Place your entire foot on the platform (not hanging off the edge).
Can You Add Extra Plates to Your Pump Sets?
It depends on the model of pump set. The Spart Pump Set and C-Pump Set bar is a custom width, so cannot fit standard plates. Our Orbit Pump Set has a standard width bar so it can fix extra standard plates.
However, it is not common that people will opt to add additional weight plates, as pump sets are usually used for low weight, high repetition training vs heavy weight training. For heavyweight training, you are better of using 6’ Deluxe Barbell with standard plates or pancake plates.
