At Orbit Fitness, we stock a premium selection of exercise bikes in a range of styles to suit your training needs.

Spin Bikes

Spin bikes are also sometimes referred to as cycling bikes or indoor cycles. Spin bikes are designed to replicate road bikes. This style of exercise bike requires you to lean forward with the option to stand on the pedals for a more challenging workout.

These fitness bikes are generally used for spinning group fitness classes and those who participate in cycling as a sport, but can also be used for HIIT workouts.

Upright Exercise Bikes

This style of exercise bike has higher handlebars so you only have to lean forward slightly. Unlike the spin bike, you can’t stand while riding. These exercise bikes are built to promote sitting, with a wider and more padded seat.

Upright exercise bikes are great for regular cycling and tend to be good for anyone who is simply looking to improve their cardio and increase activity.

Recumbent Exercise Bikes

If you’re looking for an exercise bike that is easier on your lower back and gives you the option of using weights to work your upper body at the same time, then recumbent bikes may be the best choice for you. Recumbent bikes are also great for rehabilitation post-injury as well as an exercise option during pregnancy.

Air Bikes

Air bikes are a different beast.

Air bikes use air resistance vs the standard braking system on other exercise bikes. They have moving handles, which adds an upper body workout to your training. They are designed for high-intensity interval training, not steady-state cycling or cardio that combines intervals.
